MoeLog is an independently developed pet management app created by individual developer yangshan. We take your privacy seriously, and this policy explains how this app handles your information.
In short: your data belongs to you. We operate no servers, collect no analytics, and sell no data to any third party.
2. Information We Collect
Information You Provide
- Pet Profiles: Name, breed, birthday, gender, avatar photo, etc. — all entered by you.
- Health Records: Vaccines, vet visits, weight, medication records — all manually entered by you.
- Pet Show Content: Photo identifiers you choose to add to Pet Show collections (stored locally / in iCloud only; never uploaded to external servers).
Device Permissions
- Photo Library Access: Only after your explicit authorization, we read your photo library to perform AI animal recognition and manual photo tagging. Your photos are never uploaded to any server.
- Notification Permission: Used to send health reminders (e.g., vaccine due date alerts) at the times you configure.
3. Data Storage & Sync
All data is stored in your iCloud account via Apple CloudKit, hosted on Apple's servers. We have no access to your iCloud data.
If you are not signed in to iCloud or have iCloud sync disabled, data is stored on your device only.
This app operates no proprietary servers and does not integrate any third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third party. The only data channels are:
- Apple iCloud / CloudKit: For cross-device data synchronization (governed by Apple's Privacy Policy).
- Apple App Store In-App Purchase: Subscription payments are processed by Apple. We store no payment information (governed by Apple's Terms of Service).
5. Subscription & Payment
MoeLog Pro subscriptions are managed entirely by the Apple App Store. We do not store, process, or access any of your payment information. To manage your subscription, go to Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
6. Children's Privacy
This app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe your child has provided personal information to this app, please contact us and we will address it promptly.
7. Changes to This Policy
If we make significant changes to this policy, we will describe them in the app's update notes. We recommend reviewing this page periodically. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
